Why do I need to change my password to use Exchange Mail?

Exchange mail authenticates using ISU's Windows Active Directory. If you do not have a password in Active Directory, changing your Net-ID password will synchronize your new password into Windows Active Directory.

And/Or if you have WebMail, it is needed to upload your WebMail into Exchange.
