When you access the internet using the eduroam network, you are not required to register your desktop computer, laptop, phone or tablet. If you are using an ethernet cable or are unable to connect your desktop computer, laptop, phone or tablet to eduroam, the device must be registered.
If you have trouble accessing the internet with a registered device, please restart the device to see if the issue is resolved.
If you are using a mobile device, losing Wi-Fi connectivity can cause your device to switch to cellular data and cause issues.
Your Net-ID is your unique identifier and is used to access many products and services at Iowa State. If you don’t have a Net-ID, you can create it here.
